Domino - The blind hughie game

The game of Blind Hughie is very old, and suited foor younger children. Adults will not find it interesting as there is little scope for skill.

Number of players
The game is for 2 to 4 players.

Time
about 5 to 10 minutes

Materials
Double sixes work best. However, it is can also be played with larger sets.

Object of the game
The first player to play all his dominoes.

The deal
All bones are shuffled face down. playes draw from 5 to 12 + dominoes [according to how long you want the game to last] but do not look at them.

Place them in front of you in any order you choose, but side by long side. Choose someone to go first. The youngest works good for children as they can all understand the fairness of that. Then the next time the next youngest and so on.

First player takes his first domino turns it over and places it in the middle of the table.

The rules

  1. Without looking at any domino before it is it's turn to be played, the players turn up the first domino in line and play it if it matches..
  2. Doubles in the usual way (At right angle with the normal line) .
  3. If a domino can't be played then it is returned to the end of the line to wait another turn.

    The end
When no more dominoes can be played the game if over.
