Word Games are among the most popular games in the world. Allthough the world has many thousands of languages, many wordgames can be played in allmost any language, notably when the language has a phonetic alphabet.

It is not the purpose of this site to provide you with an exhaustive list of word games.There are literally hundreds of word games. For more information, consult Gyles Brandeth's Word Games or The Penguin Book of Word games.

There are numerous boardgames and dice games for words. Scrabble is the most well known, and there are countless variations. One variation is Questique, published by David English.
